Incase the automatic installer
doesn't work for you or you just rather install it yourself manually with
extracting .zip files, then this where you need to go. Follow the
instructions given so that you know that your items will show it the game.
Before asking where the
objects are, try looking in the collection given to you with this
installation. If you don't put in the collections it may be harder to find
objects that are really there.

1.
When you first select a download, save it to your desktop.
2.
Once it is done downloading, open the main .zip file (s2easwhole.zip).
Inside of that .zip there will be three other .zip files. Extract those to
your desktop (s2easmusic.zip,
s2eascollections.zip,
and s2easdownloads.zip).
3.
Now open up the .zip
file called
s2easdownloads.zip and
extract everything in that .zip file to
My Documents\EA Games\The Sims
2\Downloads.
This includes the objects,
clothes, walls, and floors.
4.
Next open the .zip file called
s2eascollections.zip
and extract those files to
My Documents\EA Games\The Sims
2\Collections.
5.
Now if you don't want
the music in your game, then you are done! You can check it out in your
game now! If you want
to install the music as well, go to the next step.
6.
Now open the .zip file called
s2easmusic.zip
and extract all the files to
My Documents\EA Games\The Sims
2\Music. The .zip file
is setup to put the music in the techno folder so just extract it to the
base Music folder. Now you're finished! Enjoy listening to those songs.
When you are in the game you
can access the songs by the Techno section of a stereo or in the
music/audio panel in options.
