Topic: How to download and install objects. (With Windows (Zip Compressor))

First is first. You need to go to the place where you want to download the objects from. For this tutorial we will be using this site to download the objects from. So lets click on downloads and then objects. I think I'll choose the Wooden Snack Closet. Most sites use .zip files where they pack the objects in it. Here if you have Microsoft Windows there is no need to install anything. Luckily you will notice how to download the objects on this site since the button stands out and says Download Now. So go ahead and click that. (If a dialog shows up with the buttons Open , Save, and Cancel, choose open) |

STEP 1: Once the .zip file is done downloading it will come up with a screen. It will look like as if you opened a folder on your computer. Once the screen / window pops up click on Extract all files on the left side. |

STEP 2: Now the extraction wizard window will appear. Click on next to continue. |

STEP 3: Now the Select a Destination screen will appear. Now click on Browse and then go to My Documents / EA Games / The Sims 2 / Downloads. Make sure you have the Downloads folder selected / clicked on. Then hit ok. Once you are done with that hit next. |

STEP 4: Lastly I recommend you uncheck the box that says show extracted files (It is not needed) and last click on Finish. Your finished! Wasn't that easy? Now go in the game and look for that object or objects! (Note: On my site it tells you where you can find the object. So that will be useful. If on another site it does not tell you then you might need to take some time and look for it) |
