Ok, I know that for a lot of you, this is a total disappointment, and very unexpected. Well to let you in on my hard decision on whether to cancel it or not, I'll just tell you a bit about it.
As most of you know, I first had a poll asking which pack was the most wanted. The results showed that the Valentine's Day Pack was the winner. Well I can say, someone posted a comment on the poll saying that there wouldn't be anything much for a Valentine's day theme, which was partially correct in my opinion. Well I did start it for the community, and I knew I only had one month to finish it. That was the main feature holding a stop sign right in front of me. It usually takes me a couple months to finish a pack, so cutting off a lot of time didn't give me an opportunity. So recently I only had 10 objects made, because of school work and what not. That's when I knew there was a 95% chance I wasn't going to make it. So everyone that was depending on this pack, I am very sorry, and I hope someday I can make it up to you. Hopefully the finished downloads will at least help you get a taste of the pack and what I've made. If I had more time, I sure would have finished it.
The BAD PART - What I did was basically just waste about a month's time in a non-productive pack, which only led me backwards in getting some new things done. But that is the only bad news to me. You may think it's bad that I cancelled it, but if you really think about it; Was it?
The GOOD PART - In a way I am quite happy for canceling the pack. I believe it was the right choice in my hand. Here is what's good for you. Now when time gets lower for me to spend on packs, I tend to spend much less time on my items. That means, less quality, less full, and a lower overall feeling. Now just think about it this way. If you would let me finish 30 objects in about 8 more days (Planned Release on Feb. 6), I don't think you would even be able to survive the look of the items. So basically now I'm not rushing to finish anything, which means I have time to work on things. I think you would rather see a pack cancelled in time with more news and updates on other new features instead of downloading a pack that has a box for a table with too much low quality items. There would be no point for people's interest to download something like that. Also you'll be able to download everything I finished, so it's not like you are missing anything. What I have, is what you get.
This
cancellation is not to say anything about my future. I do not plan to come up
with any more packs that should be completed in a month. So therefore I don't
plan for there to be any more cancellations. So I hope you enjoyed this article
in all shapes in sizes, even if I didn't make sense.
Right now I am in the process of thinking. There will be other packs, and I have
my eyes laid on a Celebrity Style Theme and a large pack with all the packs I've
made combined with 10 new objects for each pack theme in it. Also each object
will be updated with shadows, better quality and more. Those are just my
thoughts right now, not 100% yes. Have any comments? Post your comments below
